VP Sales – Tomorrow

The role

Tomorrow is moving from classic startup sales done by the founder to a more commercial structure, and we need you to help us build a global sales organisation from scratch. 

We have an incredible team in place, but we lack someone with a strong commercial background in the team, and someone who has scaled a startup globally to a scaleup – or in other words add commercial DNA to the engineering DNA already present in our team.

You will be the commercial anchor in our team, who can facilitate the sales process with large enterprise customers. We’re experiencing a rapidly increasing interest for our product and are therefore looking for an experienced VP of sales focused to harness this interest and bring Tomorrow to the next level.

This role will take you from strategy to hands on sales with SMB or Enterprise clients globally, and on to building and scaling a sales team. Potential customers include cloud vendors, electricity retailers, and EV apps and manufacturers. 


A startup VP Sales should look much, much different than the VP of an established company. Our startup VP Sales needs to convince prospects to take a chance on an untested product and unknown vendor. 

Your focus would first of all be figuring out how everything works, which means understanding the product + the potential customers, and build our commercial strategy on the back of that. 

After that your focus will be on sales – as VP sales your role is to triple our revenue, that is the goal. The VP sales is a salesperson that is driven by delivering results. We need a person whose focus is always in the marketplace and with the customers, always looking for opportunities to drive the company forward. 

We need a doer that can lead the way, while still maintaining the clarity and strategic thinking needed to organize the work, and help inform decision making in the management team. It’s important that you have sales experience and are prepared to get your hands dirty, testing the commercial strategy and bringing in customers. We need someone who has experience from sales, preferably from the energy sector or from data / cloud / electric mobility, but we are open to creative thinkers who come outside of our current customer base.

It’s a big bonus if you have either been a part of building a new team from scratch or if you have been at a startup where you successfully built/scaled sales from startup to scaleup stage.
